Step Ahead - Sbarara

Step Ahead were frequently recorded, mixed and produced at 8th Avenue Studios in Johannesburg in the late 80’s / early 90’s. The band toured southern Africa with Brenda Fassie and was mixed by Craig Beyrooti. Craig recorded and mixed their energetic album Sbarara in 1988. 2018 commemorates the 30th anniversary of the album. The record contained many hits including the title track, Masonja and Lesotho.  Sbarara is an excellent album and will have you “dancing, laughing, singing” as expressed in the tune Majita.
