Avalonia on Smooth Jazz Sitges

Avalonia’s instrumental “Traction Control” was featured on the Smooth Jazz Sitges program alongside other contemporary jazz tunes. Based 35 kilometers southwest of Barcelona, the Spanish program plays an excellent assortment of smooth jazz tunes. It was wonderful to have “Traction Control” featured on the program.  Piano, sax and drums for this seven minute instrumental were recorded by the trio in one take. Guitars, bass and strings were then overdubbed by the song’s composer Jayden Beyrooti. It features tight drums by Seth Beyrooti, an energetic tenor sax by Ramon Bautista, and funky rhythm guitars.
